This sheltered site overlooks the village of Saint-Aubin and faces south, sheltered by the steep slopes that lead to the Hautes-Côtes. The wine has a marvelously ripe lemon and green apple fruit with a nuance of marzipan and butter. The texture is dense and concentrated, and the final impression is one of impressive balance and elegance. Lamy-Pillot farms 0.62 hectares of south-facing vines in white marl and limestone soils; the grapes are gently pressed and fermented in cask (20% new).
