Delivery Policy

You must be at least 21 years of age to purchase wine & spirits. ADULT SIGNATURE IS REQUIRED.

By placing your order, you have represented to Grapes the Wine Co that you are at least 21 years of age. All alcoholic beverages that Grapes the Wine Co arranges for delivery on your behalf must be received and signed for by an adult of legal drinking age; this also includes items delivered outside of the United States.

Important Notice

Due to federal and state regulations, all wine deliveries must be received by an adult 21 years of age or older. An adult must be physically present to sign for the wine delivery. Therefore, Grapes the Wine Co recommends that you designate a business address. Federal regulations also make it illegal to deliver wine to post office boxes. In addition, Grapes the Wine Co cannot schedule deliveries for a specific time during the day. We can offer a window the morning of delivery, based upon the route that our driver chooses on the day.

Please Note - The time it takes to pull, assemble and process a typical order takes approximately 2-3 business days prior to arranging for delivery (sometimes longer). When your order is placed you will be informed as to what day of the week to expect your order. If you live in Westchester County or Manhattan, we make weekly deliveries to you. If we are delivering to you in the Bronx, Queens or Long Island, we regularly deliver 1-2 times per month, but exceptions can be made if you contact us directly. If your order is time-sensitive, it is suggested you choose an expedited delivery option. Delivery dates are never guaranteed if sent via Ground service.

Delivery Options

Local Delivery (Eastern Westchester, Southern Westchester, Northern Westchester, Manhattan, Queens, the Bronx, Long Island)

Same Day Delivery is available to customers in the White Plains area (no more than 3.5 miles from the store). If you would like your order delivered same day, and meet the requirements, then simply put "Same Day Delivery" in the special instructions of the order. These orders can be expected to arrive between 6:00pm and 9:00pm. If you need the order by a specified time, please include the time in the instructions and we will call if any problems are foreseen. 

From time-to-time certain routes are skipped due to circumstances beyond our control (i.e. Weather, etc.). 

*Third-party carriers will make three delivery attempts. If your package is returned to Grapes the Wine Co, an additional charge may be applicable to re-deliver your order. *

Items requiring an adult signature like wine and spirits cannot be rerouted from their original address. Please keep this in mind when choosing your delivery address.  

Please note Grapes the Wine Co is unable to arrange common carrier delivery of hard liquor or spirits.
