This has a lovely definition of crisp, lemony fruit, with hints of spice and a suggestion of butter. The texture is fresh and lively, and the length is surprisingly long. This wine comes from a 1.15ha parcel planted at mid-slope in stony soils, with vines nearly 50 years of age. The grapes are lightly crushed and fermented in cask (20% new), where they stay for approximately 10 months before being racked, then finishing their maturation in cask. (Drink between 2021-2029)
