From one of the O.G. bodegas of Haro, this LRA hails from the superb 1973 vintage. Built to last, ripe and balanced due to the vestiges of time in the bottle, the inaugural Viña Arana is defined by more robust flavors than other LRA cuvees, which bodes well for this wine which is tipping over fifty years old. Brick ruby, sweet spices, forest herbal, tanned leather, and a balsamic touch, wistful tobacco, and coffee. Autumnal, well integrated tannins, autumnal – harmonious, glorious LRA beauty.
