Lots of walnut-shell on the nose at first. Almost charred character. But then it opens up with air to reveal a deep core of aromatic plum and berry fruit, together with milder spice and dried-herb notes. Fresher pressed flowers, too. Full-to medium-bodied with tight but complex flavors and still firm tannins. Be patient for this one. Lots going on, but still rather closed. Worth the wait. Try in 2025.
