75% Mourvèdre, 20% Grenache, 5% Cinsault
Clinging to the hillside and overlooking the Mediterranean, the Arlon family’s vineyard is surrounded by a haven of garrigue scrubland and centuries-old olive trees. It benefits from a micro-climate that imbues their wines with personality. In 2013, the Domaine des Trois Filles was established and they vinified their first harvest.
The 2016 Bandol from Domaine Trois Filles is a blend of 75% Mourvèdre, 20% Grenache and 5% Cinsault. It starts off with hints of smoke and charred plum skin on the nose but is fresh and fruit-driven on the full-bodied palate, adding juicy strawberry flavors to the mix. Fleshy and supple, it closes with some grainy tannins.
