This Quincy vineyard is west of Sancerre on the Cher river, a tributary of the Loire. Straw yellow with a fresh nose of bright citrus fruit. Refined texture with nice balance and a long citrus mineral finish.
Cuvée Tradition comes from vines averaging 45 years in age rooted in a mosaic of soil types. Fruit is harvested slightly overripe so as to boost richness on the palate, and is vinified in steel to preserve freshness. Sur-lie aging adds a pleasant bout of texture to this refreshing, food-friendly wine.
