The 2017er Wolfer Goldgrube Auslese Portz (the reference to this privileged sector of the vineyard only appears on the back label) comes from very old vines harvested late at 126° Oechsle. It offers a gorgeous nose of melon, pear, almond paste, grapefruit and smoke. The wine is hugely sweet and smooth on the palate and leaves a creamy feel in the melon and star-fruit infused finish. 2027-2042
