"Deep in colour with oak evident on both nose and palate, this is a full-bodied, rich and generous Cru Beaujolais. Brulhier is an 0.5ha lieu-dit on steep, south-facing slopes at over 400m. The soil here is andesite ('blue sonte'). Dark fruits on the palate with soft tannins and crisp acidity. Finishes with an appealing streak of slate and a lick of spice."-Andy Howard, MW
