The history of Château la Connivence is a story of friendship, a human adventure where oenophile friends decide to create not “a good wine” but a “very good wine”. The mythical Pomerol appellation became the cradle of this complicity which united the 3 owners: Johan Micoud, former football international, Arnaud Wiltrand and Alexandre de Malet Roquefort, owner of Château la Gaffelière, Saint-Emilion. Only 2,500 bottles come from this property.

It’s a smoking good wine that offers big, opulent aromas and flavors of black cherries, scorched earth, graphite and lots of minerality. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, with lots of fruit, yet also class in its elegant, seamless texture and ripe tannin, it’s hidden little gem to seek out.
