Currently belonging to the Paladin family, the Fattoria di Castelvecchi has vineyards located on the best hills of the municipality of Radda in Chianti, but above all it has a centuries-old history behind it, according to which excellent quality wines were already being produced in the 13th century. In the vineyards, gnarled and over fifty years old vines grow on stony and arduous soils, yielding few but truly prized bunches. Grapes that are then processed in the cellar with the main aim of enhancing their intrinsic characteristics and the terroir of origin. It is in this way that exceptional labels are born, those of the "Premiata Fattoria di Castelvecchi in Chianti", created with authentic devotion and with the utmost attention aimed at protecting and enhancing the territory and the environment.

Deep, ripe black fruit with saline, almost sweaty mineral and spice notes, following through to a full-to medium-bodied palate with integrated tannins and a tight, fruit and nutty finish. Drink or hold.
