The Barbera d'Asti Braja di Castello di Gabiano is born from 100% Barbera grapes grown on soils rich in organic matter and calcium that enhance its aromatic profile in terms of finesse and intensity. Alcoholic fermentation took place in temperature-controlled cement tanks. Aging occurred for 60% in cement and the remaining 40% in large barrels in contact with the lees for 12 months and for some months in the bottle.

The Barbera d'Asti Braja di Castello di Gabiano presents itself with a ruby red color and purple reflections. On the nose, aromas of cherry and small red fruits intertwine with floral notes of rose and violet, along with hints of tobacco and dark spices. The taste is straightforward and well-balanced, enhanced by a pleasant fresh-savory trail that lingers in the finish. At the table, it pairs well with cured meats, semi-aged cheeses, as well as tasty land-based dishes with white or red meats.

Good expression of pure Barbera obtained from grapes selected and harvested by hand in the sun facing vineyards called "Braja", located on the Castle Estate.
Preserving 40% of the wine in fine woods for 6/8 months softens the acidity and gives a balanced tannicity and persistence.
Its juiciness and sweetness make La Braja a particularly gastronomic wine, suitable for the whole meal or before sitting down at the table to whet your appetite.
