Inside Burgundy 90, JS 90

“Deeper soils on decomposed granite. Lovely grace and style to this, goes on a long way, with detail and energy. 14.5% and I really didn’t see that, as there is no suggestion of heat or lack of balance.” Jasper Morris

2) 2020 Domaine de la Grose Pierre Chiroubles Cuvee Claudius

Sampler Pack Price: $99.99/pack (includes 1 btl of each of the 4 wines)

A View from the Cellar 93, Inside Burgundy 91

“the wine is impressively vibrant and pure, showing absolutely no signs of overripeness in its beautiful bouquet of black cherries, pomegranate, a hint of bitter chocolate, peonies, dark soil tones, fresh thyme and plenty of upper register smokiness. On the palate the wine is deep, pure and full-bodied, with a great core of fruit, firm, chewy tannins, excellent focus and mineral undertow and a long, balanced and quite youthful finish.” John Gilman

3) 2021 Famille Dutraive St. Amour Clos du Chapitre

Sampler Pack Price: $99.99/pack (includes 1 btl of each of the 4 wines)

Cellar Tracker 90

“Very nice and fruit forward, good structure, very light, with notes of raspberry, cherry and maybe even strawberry. Good balance. Lovely light red. 12.5% ABV.”

4) 2022 Jean-Claude Lapalu Cote de Brouilly

Grapes Sale Price: $31.99/btl

Sampler Pack Price: $99.99/pack (includes 1 btl of each of the 4 wines)

Falstaff 93, A View from the Cellar 92 (for the 2021. Review of the 2022 not published yet)

“Concentrated black cherry and slate-spicy aromas, closer to northern Rhône Syrah than Côte-d'Or Pinot Noir. In the mouth, the wine has great density, is mealy-sandy and immaculately ripe, with artisanal tannins, a pinch of carbonic acid from the (presumably spontaneous) fermentation, mild acidity and lots of mineral extract. It is a compact and has, despite all the concentration, a juicy and easy-drinking structure. A little bold, but with class!” - John Gilman, A View From The Cellar
