Albert Grivault is very likely the best producer you have never heard of. Anonymity is a good thing, since the domaine is small, with only 5 hectares from which to make wine. That said, the parcels they own are very special. Grivault holds the most revered parcel in all of Meursault, the famed “Clos des Perrières.” Clos des Murgers is a Monopole, wholly-owned by Domaine Albert Grivault.
