"A crimson centre with lighter rim. The Clos de Bèze offers that little bit more power while retaining finesse. Crisp and savoury, with a pleasing mid red fruit, but not the most persistent. This has more finesse than Bonnes Mares but less concentration, perhaps just a bit more closed."-Jasper Morris, MW

"Fairly closed on the initial attack, in contrast to its exuberance in the last several vintages. On the palate, it opens slowly, revealing black plum fruit aromas with notes of earth, leather and spice. The texture is tannic and seemingly monolithic, but everything is in the right place and this should open with a bit of time. Yields were minuscule in 2024 – they cropped at 11hl/ha and ended up with just five barrels from nearly a hectare of vines."-Charles Curtis, MW
